Infants Class

The first 12 months are filled with great discoveries as children gain sensory awareness and become aware of their environment. Every child is unique and develops at their own pace.

Age Group: 6 months to 12 months

Teacher-Student Ratio: 7 kids in one class

Skills that will impact infants

  • Sensory Exploration – discovering sounds, textures, and movement
  • Motor Development – tummy time, rolling, sitting, crawling
  • Early Communication – cooing, babbling, responding to voices
  • Social & Emotional Bonding – building trust through responsive care
  • Cognitive Growth – curiosity, tracking objects, cause and effect

Toddler Class

When children enter the toddler stage of development, research shows that they learn by playing and exploring their environment by engaging in a variety of activities, and they learn how to communicate, think, and problem-solve through key relationships with adults.

Age Group: 13 to 23 Months

Teacher-Student Ratio: 10 students to one teacher or 18 students to 2 teachers

What Else We Are Teaching

Skills that will develop toddlers

  • Cognitive Development - Exploring cause and effect Stacking, sorting, and problem-solving through play
  • Language Development - Building vocabulary and recognizing familiar words Using gestures, sounds, and early words to communicate
  • Social & Emotional Growth - Beginning to play alongside others | Expressing emotions and building trust with caregivers
  •  Gross Motor Skills - Walking, climbing, pushing, and pulling | Developing balance and body awareness
  • Fine Motor Skills - Grasping toys, turning pages, and self-feeding | Strengthening hand-eye coordination
  •  Independence Skills - Following simple routines | Practicing self-help skills like cleaning up and handwashing

Pre-School Class

Skills important for each preschooler include fine motor, listening, taking care of basic needs, and socialization. Children engage in creative play and pre-academic skills in literacy and numeric fluency.

Age Group: Students are placed in PreK2 and PreK3 based on age as of Sept. 1st.

Teacher-Student Ratio: Pre-K 2: 1:11, 2:22; Pre-K 3: 1:15, 2:30

Pre-K 2

  • Early Language Development – vocabulary expansion and two-word phrases
  • Foundational Math Concepts – counting, sorting, and pattern recognition
  • Cognitive Development – problem-solving, memory, and attention skills
  • Fine & Gross Motor Development – hand control, balance, and coordination
  • Social-Emotional Learning – following routines, cooperative behaviors

Pre-K 3

  • Early Literacy Skills – letter recognition, phonemic awareness, print concepts
  • Early Math Skills – number recognition, counting, shapes, and patterns
  • Language & Communication – sentence structure, comprehension, expression
  • Executive Function Skills – focus, self-regulation, task completion
  • Writing Readiness & Motor Skills – pencil grip, tracing, coordinated movement
